This home was build at a time when the home owner had problems getting clay roofing tiles to go with the typical look this home is build in. Being from Italy, he wanted to, but at that time it was very hard. So he settled for cedar shakes. Over the years they have been beaten down by the constant aggressive attack of the sun's UV rays. So it was time to redo the roof. After searching the Internet, the homeowners dream came true, he got the clay roofing tiles he is so used to from his native Italy. The F7 tile with the large hump fits perfectly on the roof. Now the home owner wants to paint the home new, so it matches the superior look of the natural red roof tiles.
