Our collection of clay roof tiles is very sophisticated.
Each of our manufacturer that supply the tiles has more than 100 years of
experience.
Clay roof tiles have
been used as early as several thousand years ago. The first to use
them were the Asians. Clay is considered as one of the oldest building materials
besides wood and plant parts. It is easy to form, cannot be harmed by normal
influences of the elements and can be made to withstand the harshest climates. Because of its very long life expectancy it is one of the most
economically products in construction.
Clay tiles installed by Roman settlers
can still be found on many buildings in Southern Europe. But the development has
continued since then. Today we have one of the most advanced products in
the roofing business. The development and engineering that has gone in our
products is clearly visible in the extraordinary clay roof tiles of today.
Ask for track record, centuries of successful business allied to modern
production plants and expanding markets tell you something.
Our tiles are covered by a no-nonsense fully
transferable manufacturers warranty, that does not include pages of
very "small print".
Here are some of the special design aspects:
| This is a sample of the invisible 4-way interlocking feature
that creates a virtually water proof roofing solution that will fight off
natures elements for decades to come. |
 |
| The hook system that fasten the tile onto the horizontal
strapping. With the interlocking system this allows for a very fast
placing of the tiles on the roof. |
 |
| The vertical and horizontal interlocking feature makes it
virtually impossible for water or snow to penetrate the roof tile
covering. The special play in every tile in the top to bottom direction allows
the roofer to stretch or push the tiles together, depending of the measurements
of the roof surface. The "double V" feature allows for an even
better and tighter fit. |

|
| The fully integrated roof ridge ventilation system
consisting of the under ridge vent tiles and the matching ridge caps which
allows
for an excellent roof ventilation. This protects the roof structure
against damage caused by moisture and mildew. It creates a very healthy environment and keeps the
cooling costs down in summer. Best of all, no mortar is necessary,
resulting in no need for maintenance work. This can also be achieved with
the use of a ridge- or hip-roll. |
 |
| The smooth surfaces of our clay tiles,
natural colored, engobed or glazed, do not allow airborne materials to accumulate.
This helps to prevent the build-up of moss and other vegetation growth
on the roof's surface. (no roof goat necessary) |
This will not happen with our tiles! |
The colors of TFC's clay roof tiles do not
fade, since they have been permanently burnt into the surface.
With other roofing materials the color pigments are only applied in a thin
layer that fades out under the sun's UV Rays. |

Color change- old and new
This will not happen with our tiles! |
| Steel of tin roofing fades under the sun's UV
rays. Depending on the quality of the materials this can be visible within
a short time. Untreated the steel will start to oxidate and finally start
to rust. |
our Clay roofing tiles will not color fade,
keeping your roof beautiful for generations to come |
