The slate and shake looking clay tile come in a wide range of different styles. It can range from total flat tiles that are laid just like shakes, overlapping sideways and on top, to very sophisticated interlocking tiles, with a stamped-on-surface that mimics real slate. Designed to be used as an alternative to wood shakes and real slate, they come with a very long life span, in a wide range of colors and surfaces and are virtually maintenance free. Combining the looks of slate or shake with the cost and longevity benefits of clay roof tiles, this is the best and the cheapest solution in the long run. All tiles are tested to DIN/EN 1304 that well exceeds ASTM testing methods. 
This means they are absolute frost proof, fire proof and have a very high breaking point.
