» Okanagan Lake, B.C.: Reid's Roofing ; Magnum in earth tone streaked engobed 56 sq. re-roof from cedar shakes

This home survived the destruction caused by the firestorm in Summer 2003 only because of the fierce determination of the homeowner, the location right at the lake and a good portion of luck. Using several huge gasoline powered pumps, the whole property was kept soaking wet during the fire's attack. Feeling that luck might run out the next time, the owners decided to follow their neighbor's example and switch to a non combustible roofing material. The transformation is enchanting and the owners are very happy with the looks and the performance of the clay roofing tiles. " The tiles have greatly improved the estate's appearance and value"
