» Kelowna-Mission, B.C.: Reid's Roofing; Domino in anthracite engobed 73 sq. This estate is located in the Mission district of Kelowna on the shores of Bellevue Creek close to the lake shore of Okanagan Lake. Situated on a large lot, this old English style mansion was originally roofed with cedar shakes. Squirrel had chewed through the shakes and made their home in the deteriorating roof. They had to be vacated by the roofer back into their natural environment. Rest assured no animal was harmed besides their pride. The design of the house is enhanced by the solid look of the Domino Clay Roof tile. For smaller areas beaver tails were used. The worry free long life expectancy of the tiles made the choice for clay roof tiles the logical. Also a big selling feature with the home owner was, that they keep exactly the way they are delivered, no fading, no color change, no moss growing on them. before: after: Jump to the "tech section" for more information about this tile: Domino |
