» Okanagan Lake, B.C.: Reid's Roofing ; Magnum in copper red engobed 75 sq. This is one of the first homes to be rebuild after the 2003 firestorm that swept through the Central Okanagan region. The burned down house had cedar shakes installed that went up in flames despite the best efforts to keep them wet. So the homeowner decided to get a "fire proof" roof that lasts basically "for ever". And he is not alone !! before the fire: the new house:
