In addition: all our products have been
tested in real life tests, not only in time pressured laboratory tests. The
usage of clay as a building product is solidly proven since human
existence.

and guarantees that the
delivered clay roof tiles correspond to the requirements of water intrusion
(according to test as per DIN EN 539-1, level 2) and
of frost damage (according
to tests as per DIN EN 539-2 procedure B).
The warranty can only
be applied to the roof and place where the clay tiles have been laid at first
instance.
During the a.m. period of
warranty we are obliged to replace those tiles that are not up to a.m.
requirements to the guarantee free of charge, delivered
at site. In case of
color amendments or change of models in our product range the substitute
delivery will refer to the new, current model.
During the first five years
of warranty we also oblige ourselves to reimburse the guarantee for all wage
costs incurred by the exchange of the defective
tiles including the cost
incurring from devices such as scaffolding, hoisting apparatus and disposal.
Those costs are calculated on the basis of local
wages common for the branch in
the respective area.
The above mentioned warranty service is granted under the following
conditions :

The delivered clay tiles must be laid in
accordance with the DIN building regulations, the special regulations related to
the roofing trade
and to
our company-own, additional laying instructions. Should our company-own laying
instructions differ from those regulations made
by the roofing trade, the former are to be considered for submitting of any claim
resulting from the warranty.
·
Requirement for the submitting of any claim is a
professional roof construction and laying of the roof.
·
Both ventilation and airing of the entire roofing must be in accordance
with DIN 4108.
·
Any claim has to be reported immediately to XXX.
·
Before the beginning of any repairs we must have the opportunity to
inspect the defective roof or tile.
·
XXX has to be submitted with a costs estimate before the execution of
any exchange or re-tiling work.
We reserve the right to perform the
work ourselves or commission a third party.
·
For clay tiles that show damage before or during laying or where damage
is discovered by careful handling customary for this trade those tiles
will
be replaced free of charge to
the construction site, unloaded.
·
Damages caused by "force majeure" (e.g. damage caused by storm)
are not covered by this warranty.
·
The warranty entitlement from substitute deliveries expires at the same
time as the warranty entitlement from the main delivery expires.
·
Original XX accessories as per our product range have to be used
(ventilation systems like our ridge connecting ventilation tile, verge
tiles, ridge
tiles, clay ventilation pipe, storm clamps, snow-stop and step systems etc.)
Apart from this warranty
the guarantee may be entitled to further contractual or legal claims.
Those contractual or legal claims are not restricted by this warranty.
